On September 9th, the part-time professor of our school, the researcher of the National Animal Husbandry Station of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs Zongli Wang and the director of the office Dr. Long Guan came to the College of Pastoral Agricultural Science and Technology of Lanzhou University for inspection.

Zongli Wang was invited to participate the 88th “ Pastoral Industry Everest Forum”. In the lecture hall on the fourth floor of Biye Building, he made an academic report entitled “The Development Path, Achievements and Future Prospects of China’s Husbandry in the Past 70 Years”. He elaborated on the significance of the development of husbandry and introduced the development path, changes and the future of China’s husbandry in detail since the reform and opening up. More than 100 teachers and students of the College listened to the report, and the report was presided over by the dean of the College of Pastoral Agriculture Science and Technology Professor Fujiang Hou.

The both sides held a symposium in the conference room on the second floor of Biye Building. The both sides conducted in-depth exchange on the development of grassland and husbandry, first-class discipline construction, teacher team construction and research project application. Zongli Wang fully affirmed the achievement of the College of Pastoral Agricultural Science and Technology of Lanzhou University in recent years, and he pointed out that the college should continue to strengthen the communication with relevant departments of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs to provide scientific and technological support for the healthy and stable development of the grassland husbandry industry.

During the visit, Zongli Wang and his party visited the State Key Laboratory of Grassland Agro-ecosystem.
